I'm sorry to report none of LuckyFoot's little LuckyFeet made it.
I nursed the last one (with a syringe for around 4 days, thought it was going well, fell in love with the little guys, and then he passed on to be with his former siblings and my former bunny Eeyore.) I did read somewhere on a site about rabbits and offspring that actually the critical phase was when he passed, and not earlier surprisingly enough. I believe it could have been due to the fact that when I found the Mom, LuckyFoot ~ (pictured) out in the park, she was on the verge of being dehydrated and likely malnourished too. And she was already pregnant, although at the time that was not known. She; however, is doing great now. Guitarjee, I noticed your title "creatures great and small", it reminded me of James Herriott. Have you ever read his books? I loved them! For years I was convinced I was going to "grow up" and be a vet.
