There have been times in our family life that making it to church hasn't worked for us for one reason or another. BUT, we HAVE done some type of worshipping at home.
We have really taken a liking to Joel Osteen and his wife, Victoria. We love their message(s) and philosophy on life and living, loving and family. We have some of his books, too. He is fascinating, but I am a Joyce Meyer devotee. She speaks to my woman heart, has for years now. I've also read nearly every book & receive her monthly free magazine which I look forward to every month.
Anyone looking for a real family church, (where children are #1,) try Life Source Community Church 919 S. Combee Lakeland. Small, friendly, relative, family---a place where you can really get involved. Mostly young people with children, a great pastor & his family, also young, who can & will listen well & answer based on Jesus' teachings, any questions that you might have---and I do ask the difficult ones! Come check us out any Sunday @ 10:30 am & Wednesday @ 7:00 PM. We have a fantastic Praise & Worship team, and an amazing children's ministry.

I know so many people out there do but I don't care for Osteen or Meyer, for theological issues.
