We went with our Homeschool Group last year and my kids haven't stopped talking about it yet! Which fire station are you thinking of going to?

You need to let me know when you want to meet for me to evaluate your son's portfolio, too. Mid-June is what I remember talking about.

And, sorry you couldn't make it to blueberry picking, we did go again and they are long gone! I'll let you know when we go again. It isn't too far on the north end as I originally thought.

Is that the one at/near Lake Mirror? That will work out great for us. I'll mark it on my calendar. I know my girls will enjoy it, especially since my older one will be out of school. She missed the blueberry picking trip (w/ Polk Moms) because of school! Thanks for setting this up!

Courtney, thanks for setting this up. We enjoyed our tour! Course, I may have to take Savannah again when she is older. Being a 3 yr old, her attention span isn't very long and she was a little shy about all of it. I enjoyed meeting you & Michelle and all the kiddos! Thanks again!

I agree and wanted to thank Courtney personally also. It was much more informative than another Fire Station field trip we've done in the past. What helped us was to talk about things beforehand and write down the questions they had so they could ask once there. Miss Tammy was good, but Fire Fighter Jason was WONDERFUL, especially with our very inquisitive little guy!
