Today, February 26th, is my son Ethan's 12th birthday. Yes, I have my son Austin who has already turned 12 and my son Brandon who is 17, Though they live with me and I love them as if they came from my own womb, I have not had them their whole life (they have been mine for 7 years). So that makes today a mile marker day, the day I became a mother. Time has flown by. It makes me feel old too, lol, I am actually old enough to have a 12 year old son. I am proud of the people that we have become together. Family members truly shape each other. Happy Birthday honey!

Just a fun fact, my daughter turned 7 on Feb. 26th! It's neat when you find someone with the same birthday. I can't believe mine is 7. She hit a growth spurt about the same time, so she is definitely looking older, not like the baby and toddler she used to be! It's amazing how much they grow and mature, even though I see her everyday, I still notice the changes.

Tricia that is cool! Not only do Ethan and your daughter have something in common, you and I do too! We both gave birth the same day!

Ethan was due on leap day but came a few days early. I guess I'm glad he did.

It may sound cheesy but 26 has really become my recurring number in life.
