Shawn, I know we've all been listing the sides/drinks/desserts we'll bring but did I miss the main course?

Are we doing meat of any sort and if so who is providing that? I'm sure we can help with that if needed.

I was going to wait and see what people volunteer to make and go from there. Yes we do need some main course kind of stuff.

Courtney mentioned Goulash, that is a main meal type of thing. If anyone wants to bring a "big" dish that would be great.

I hadn't decided what to bring yet. I wanted to try and round out what we needed. I may bring chicken and yellow rice? I will bring a main course dish like that though, or two, depending on what we need.

Don't forget how hot it will likely be, ladies, so ice and ice chests to keep things safe to eat. Just saying. Can we keep all things peanut out though? Thought I should ask.

I am thinking I can make this one . My school age kids wont be coming, as they are high schoolers, and not interested in my boring pursuits LOL. I will bring Kyle, 4 and my baby.
Food wise. I've got no idea. Maybe some cold cuts and rolls to make little sandwiches?

I was thinking of bringing a baked bean dish. It is not your tyoical baked beans....it is wonderful!! I had it this past Saturday and thought I would give it a try. Shawn, I will bring something else if you see that we might have this already. I read the posts and didn't see anything like this but I may have missed something. Also, what about a rotiseree (sp??) chicken cut off and put on a platter. I know we need meat dihes so if you will let me know what I can do that would be great. I will help in anyway I can.

Ok, I think I have decided. Since most things listed seem to be sides, we're going to bbq a brisket and bring it out. We are guaranteed at least one main dish/entree then!

I may bring my mom's famous (with the family, anyway!) chocolate sheet cake too.
