Hello all....I am thinking of going to Traviss Tech's night nursing program (LPN). Just wondering if anyone here 1) is an LPN (Particularly @ LRMC) 2) If anyone here has went through the program @ Traviss 3) How do you jugle your kids/school etc if you work shift work (7a-7p). Also, what are your experiences for both Traviss and LRMC. The good? bad? ugly? anything!!! THNAKS!!

Hi thereSmiler
I graduated from Traviss in 1997. At that time, I was a single mom to a 2 year old. I was fortunate enough to be able to move in with my parents while in school and going through a divorce. I'm not going to say it was easy, though. But if you are dedicated and willing to put your social life on hold for 10 months, it can definitely be done!
I have never worked at LRMC, but did do a few months of clinicals there during training. I have a few acquaintences that work there and really enjoy it.
Hope that helps....best of luck in whatever you decide Big Grin
