Ooooh, I just googled these parks! I had no idea I could make this adventure I think, regardless of day, barring illness or maiming

I think if it is determined that there is enough interest to meet every month (perhaps a weekday one month, and a Saturday the next for the working moms) then we can not worry so much about who can or cannot make it on a certain day.

We'll just make the next one! As a full-time working and going to school mom, I can definitely plan on and make a Saturday every other month for sure and I'm sure the other working moms could too.

I'm just excited to talk to other Moms and see if everyone else's three year old acts as crazy as mine.

As as mom of the stay at home variety, I can do weekday stuff most times. June 14 is good for me, but I have plans May 31 and June 7. Again...not looking for anyone to plan around me, just putting input in. I know Lakeland has great parks, but am not familiar with any of them (pretty much), so it will all be an adventure for me!

A weekend get together sounds great! I work full time and at a small office so I really don't get a chance to meet people. I have 9 1/2 year old b/g twins and would love for them to have more friends.

Iam currently carless till we can get it fixed so I will try to plan it with the hubby to use the truck if he is not working that day I would love to meet everyone. just post the date and I will try. I heard aurburndale is great. i am not to far fro there.

do you have a time yet that we are meeting up. that is the saturday i work i wont have my 2 oldest but i will have my 16 month old.

A great stop for mother's morning out. Cute birthday invitations, thank you notes, gift tags etc, Store is called stationer loft @ 121 E alamo drive (s. florida ave 2 lights south of the parkway). It's got great girly stuff & travel items to make your summer trip much easier. Really cute diaper bag too. And calendars, kitchen organizers, to do pads and more. open 10-2 or by appointment. during the school year, open from post drop off to pick up time.

Hey there Shawn and all the other moms. I am sorry that I have not been on here in a week. We decided to get out of town for the holiday weekend.
I can't make the 14th. That is when we go to the Family Cafe annual meeting in Orlando. it is for families with anyone that has a disability. If anyone wants to check it out...the web site is familycafe.net
The conference is free and I love to go, I always find out new things for Molly.
I will try to make it in July to the park.

I can not do May 31 or June 21. Otherwise, I think I could come any other day. Just wanted to throw that out there, I would really love to come. I could not make it blueberry picking because I work full time.

I want this to be a family day, so bring the dads if you want to ladies. I was thinking afternoon, like 3 to 5 or 3 to 6? That way people have time to get some chores and things done in the morning, have lunch squared away, and then supper can be searched out after everyone plays and goes. If that doesn't sound good, scrappinmom (Lisa) can jump in (since you volunteered, hee hee) and make some plans for that day. I know if we decide to bring food we might would have to rent picnic tables for us to eat. I am fine with us just focusing on each other and talking and playing with the kids instead of food set ups and serving. Once we get into the groove and know each other thoroughly I thought then we could plan the big stuff aka buffet line. It doesn't have to be up to me though, just my thoughts outloud??????????

Shawn, I agree with you. This time around, I don't think we should play "who's bringing what?" I think it would be easier if we just concentrated on fending for ourselves for dinner (whether it's a picnic, dinner out, etc.). The times sound good to me. As always, I will go with whatever the majority votes!

It must be a subliminal thing for me to search out June birthdays because I’m a June birthday. If any of you get email from a "lastdayofspring" that is me, the lastdayofspring is June 20th and my birthday.

I would like to do a back to school bash and do a cook out or bring a dish before school starts back. This will give us a chance to show off our cooking prowess and skills and get recipe ideas. I love cook outs and definitely want to do that.

For this time, since there are so many birthdays, I can pick up some “birthday cupcakes” from Publix as a snack while we play?
