Some of these ideas are great. Since my husband and I moved to Winter Haven last July we have not really had much time to ourselves. Granted I have plenty of aunts, uncles and cousins in the area, but it is not like having our parents around like we did in Jacksonville.

When our parents would keep our children, we use to go to St. Augustine for a few hours at night. We would go to our favorite resteraunt The Columbia on St. George street (which is a spanish style rest. they also have one in Ybor city in Tampa) it alone is romantic at night, they have people walking around playing music at the tables. Then we would hit Savannah Sweets for our dessert and just walk along St. George street where there are many musicians playing up and down the street (St. George street is blocked off to cars so you can walk up and down it to the restaraunts and shops. They also had horse and carriage rides around St. Augustine if you wanted to be really romantic.St. Augustine is a very old and romantic city. We have also been on a few ghost tours there also, not as romantic but fun!

momof2boys, I love St. Augustine too! We went with all the kids, so not as romantic, but the ghost tour part we took, was the most romantic part, lol. I was scared and told hubby, to "HOLD ME"! lol, I love the history that surrounds those tours but it scares me. I am such a whimp on ghost tours.

Lilly wasnt born yet and Ryan was a month old, so he didn't get scared, he slept through the whole things. My big kids loved it!
