What places are out there for children to learn to swim? There is the YMCA. Someone told me about a college in Lakeland but I can't remember which one.

GO to lakelandgov.net and look under parks and recreation, then gandy pool. There is a link to all the swim lesson info and how to register. They start at three years old.

Thank you. I'll add that to my list and check into all these.

I just signed my daughter up for classes this summer at Florida Southern - she's really looking forward to them.

We didn't have very good luck with the YMCA. My son took there last year for 3 months, and every month they started him over from the beginning rather than where he left off.

He still can't swim.
