Shawn, your new Blog made me laugh. And not at you, but I can definitely picture myself doing exactly what you did - feed them and bath them before you go and for the very reasons you wrote! No eating, fear of choking. Bathing ahead of time, for fear of slipping. I found myself talking to you through my computer!

I am glad you and Eddy made it out! We have only had a couple of "dates" ourselves since the boys and like you, don't have family to watch ours here either.

It makes me happy that you were right along with me in the story.

Our night was great. We originally planned on going out for a nice dinner preshow, but that was cancelled when we had no sitter. We literally took our seats when the show was about to begin and we trotted out to the car when it was done and went straight home.

I was very glad that we did at least get to see the show. I would recommend a live performance there. It was very cool!

I am glad to report that all went well at home while we were gone.

I love reading your blog, too Shawn! It's very entertaining, plus you write about things that could happen to any of us! We've been working with Savannah on potty training, so I know that one day we will be in a store and have to make a mad dash to the bathroom! I already had to do it once with my oldest during potty training! Hubby & I, too rarely get out on "dates". We talk about it and try, but something always comes up! We did get out a couple weeks ago without the kids. We went out with some friends from church to Spaghetti Warehouse in Tampa. We had a good time.

I'm glad you were able to get a night out, too! We love our girls, but sometimes it's nice to break away!
