I have only lived in Winter Haven for a little less than 2 years. Since being here my husband and I have made very few friends. Since having our daughter, I spend my days at home and work a few nights a week. I have found it very difficult to meet new people since living here.
I do not know what to do here in Winter Haven to entertain my daughter and hopefully meet new people. She is 7 months old. I plan to try and attend a few polk playgroups events. My question is: Is there anything I can do with my daughter here in Winter Haven? I don't even know of any good parks to take her that don't involve at least a 30 minute drive. Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions. |

You know what's sad, is I live in Winter Haven, and have absolutely no idea what there is to do here. I typically go into Lakeland or take the kids to Mary Holland Park in Bartow. Sad, huh? I do go to the Winter Haven Library, though... yet not for any story times, I need to get to one of those for my son! I'd love to "explore" the options Winter Haven has to offer with you, if you'd like. My son is 3 and my daughter is 9 months. Hope you have a good one!
