Ya know, now Eddy can walk around and tell people you stabbed him. Big Grin

Just kidding, I know you feel like crap.

By the way, don't forget, I still live 5 minutes from you, if you got kids going in all directions like that, just pick up the phone, I can always grab a couple. Cool It's just something less on your mind in an emergency.

I really think I need to hang out with you, maybe some of your energy, lol, will rub off on moi. Smiler

I still need to take down my tree. Roll Eyes Last year I left the outside lights up till Valentines ~ they're in the shape of a heart, that was my only excuse. Big Grin As for making jams, you make me miss my Gramma, Smiler I used to love watching her make jams, & she made the best jams from her homegrown strawberries. We grandkids even helped pick 'em out of the backyard garden, which was huge. (This was Tenn.) Oh, and the maters were better than any you could find here. Now strawberries are good anywhere, but we can't do the tomatoes justice around here. Frowner

Courtney - you and your energy girl! Big Grin You're still in that nesting mode - besides - if you didn't get it all down and put away before baby comes - you'd be ready for 2009 Christmas!! Wink

Enjoy making your homemade jelly - make all you can now and freeze - I'm counting down with ya - if you need any last minute help - let me know!!!

btw - we went through your town last week - I thought of you and your family on Christmas.

I haven't stopped by in a while, December was pretty busy. I am sure it was for most of us, but I'd like to catch up a little now.

Around our house we ended 2008 not having to put away decorations because we didn't decorate. We left town twice in December so we ran short of time to do the big decorating. This has got to be the last year we'll do that, I love the holidays and I missed the decorations. Plus with a young son we'll want to make the holidays special for him.

Both times we went out of town to visit Joey's Nanalaine and Papa in Georgia. It was good to go visit but being a new mom it managed to stress me out plenty. I over packed both times because I wasn't sure what we'd need. I also stressed both times because so many of the people we wanted to visit with were sick (thankfully not his Nanalaine and Papa.) Despite being sick they all wanted to meet Joey. I don't know how we managed it but we didn't catch any of those colds (knock on wood we keep it that way.)

Now we are settled back in at home and I'm back to trying to get this place clean and organized. I've cleaned out my closet and the dresser drawers now the biggest issues left to deal with are the office, spare bedroom closet and my husband is taking care of cleaning out the garage! Yeah husband!

We took the Christmas Tree down on Saturday.
My youngest son (3 years old) actually cried. He was so excited when we put it up - I guess he thought that it would stay there forever.
He made me feel so bad taking it down.
I said, Well we can't keep it up all year.
He said ''Why Not''.
I felt so bad. It almost made me cry.

I'm going through the exact same thing with my four year old. He thinks that if he puts on his reindeer jammies that Santa will come. He was so sad that the tree came down, he told me to put it back up and put the decorations back where they belong. I was stunned as I really did not think he was paying that much attention!

I am so glad that the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over!! Smiler

Lol I think some of you doubted I maimed Eddy-

I posted the pictures of us going to the Outback bowl. Since then I have had people email me saying, "they see no boo- boo". Trust me, it's there. Frowner

We went to the Outback bowl 11 days after the "incident".

I think he did heal really well and fast on the outside.

Since I last posted, Eddy went to Dr. Serge Jean at Watson clinic- I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!

He is the one that fixed my breathing problems- I can breath sooooo good now! We used him for Eddy since I had such good results.

While at the appointment, Dr. Jean found another break in Eddy's MRI.

Eddy at this point has a 50/50 chance of a possible need for surgery Frowner

ya'll please cross your fingers that he will heal well with out

If you want to take a peek at his "before" pic, check it out
