Well ladies, I watched what I could of the show. Lilly for some reason took this time to scream at me almost the entire show. I rarely watch TV and I think they were confused that I was -lol
Very interesting to see Michelle Obama in the co-host of the View scenario. I think she did well. In the very beginning she did um a lot. I can't blame her, you have to um I am sure to pause to think of the right/ most correct thing to say. The media has ripped her to shreds on some of her remarks. I like to get a good feel for potential first ladies. I love the quote "Behind a great man is an even greater woman." In some political marriages you can see that the husband considers and even maybe asks advice of the spouse. I have not had the chance to check out Cindy McCain the other first lady hopeful. I understand she is from a wealthy family - beer enterprise from what I understand. If any of you know of an upcoming appearance for her, let me know. I was interested to hear of Michelle Obama's humble childhood. Also thought it was interesting to hear Whoopi Goldberg discuss having a black female role model for black women to look up to. I think Michelle's story is interesting from a woman stand point period no matter the color. She comes from a working class family and went on to be educated at Princeton. ~Mother to Brandon, Austin, Ethan, Ryan and Lillian~ |

I have come across several articles that discusses Michelle Obama's dress she wore on the View talk show. It is a cute dress, and I am impressed that she wore an affordable dress that the everyday lady can pick up. The problem is the dress is selling like hotcakes. One of the articles discussing the black and white frock is here

It is a cute dress, but.....Maybe I am crazy & not the norm, but I would never spend $99 on a regular dress. Prom dress, wedding dress, or something more formal maybe. It just didn't look formal enough for me to warrant the price!

I like Michelle Obama, she's intelligent, articulate, beautiful, and I hope she's married to our next President.
