Lillie is two now and I thought a gymnastics class would be a fun way to burn off some of that toddler energy. I have looked up prices and schedules at gymtek, gym etc, flip n gymnastics(all in lkld) and florida flips ( in winter haven). I just wanted to know if anyone has any input on which one is the best choice. Does anyone else do classes or want to. Boys and girls are both welcome. Any info is appreciated.

I definitly want to interact with her but just wanted an opinion on the facilities. I was leaning toward gymtec because its closest to my house but would drive a little farther for better quality. I just want it to be fun right now since she is only two. If its something she really wants to pursue or is gifted at I would look more into all the gyms and do more research. I work at night and florida flips in winter haven has all evening and afternoon classes which might be good for someone else just not for me. thanks for your input I can't wait to hear more.

We personally LOVE Gymetc! The coaches are wonderful and the mommy & me class looks so much fun! We have a friend that attends that one while we are in the 5 year old class. The coach is wonderful and interacts great with the kids (and parents) Very nice facility! Great encouragement from the coaches!

My daughter cheers for McKeel and we have practiced tumbling at Gymtec, Gymetc, and FlipN (she also cheered for Gymtec)FlipN was a very nice facility but has closed. For future gymnists I would suggest Gymetc but for fun Gymtec is just as good.

Both of our nieces went to Gymtek and the whole family loved it. They started out when they were two in the parent and me classes. My husband actually took them to class many times. He loved that parents got to play also. His favorite was the swing into the foam pit. He was not the only "dad" over there so they are great for the whole family. Dont think of these classes just for little girls. There were boys in my nieces group also, as soon as Sebastian is old enough he will be in the parent and me playgroup. We had Miss Sara and everybody loved her. SmilerLoralie had her fourth birthday party there and it was great fun.

I think I will try gymtek. The clasess were more costly than I expected them to be, but most places were about the same so I am not too concerned about it. I also took into consideration that she is not in daycare so we really don't spend alot of money on her and this will give her interaction with other kids. Shawn if you want to join me we can take the Lillians together, hehe. Its once a week on either mon 1030-1115 or wed 1030-1115 or sat 1115-1200. I don't know if you have to go the same day every week or not. None of the girls are work with are going to go with me but if anyone else wants to join in let me know.

Kaite, thank you for your posted times. For those times, which class is that? I need to know to see if it is something that Ryan can do too? He is 3, will be 4 in June and Lillian will be 2 in June. I'm game to go, I have put it off way to long, and trust me, My Lilly needs to burn some energy-lol.

Gym Etc. is tuesday from 10-1045 and is $30 a month to go once a week. The open gym is mon and wed from 10 -11 and the cost is $4 each day. I am going to try to go on tuesday for a free trial. Maybe I will see some of you there. Shawn, for the open play i'm sure both kids could go but I don't know the ages for the mommy and me.

We took classes at Gymtek and loved it. We had Sarah. They have or had free play one Sat. a month.

I just heard of a new place opening. my gym children's fitness center. www.my-gym.com mygymlakeland@yahoo.com 644-9104 I think they are offering a free initial class.

I think ours would like a rubber room with a trampoline floor and they'd have great fun.
