This FDA article gives tips on how to avoid the contamination and side effects of listeria in pregnancy.

My pregnancy ladies, one of the things it says to stay away from is Blue cheese- one of my favs!

thanks for the article shawn. They also say to avoid lunch meats and hot dogs unless throughly heated before eating. Shortly after I got pregnant I found that out and the first I wanted was of course a sub!

oh sure ruin all the good stuff!!! lol.
i didn't know about this. and i had blue cheese lastnight. oh well. i have also been craving ham. so i have been eating ham and cheese on salads. i guess i'll have to be more careful.
