I know 90% of ya'll live in Lakeland, Bartow or WH. I saw the post about Heart of Florida Regional so I thought I would write about Florida Hospital in Celebration (Kissimmee)just in case you know someone who lives in my area(HC)and you need to refer them.
This location of the Florida Hosp is located in Celebration. They have all the docs right there in the hosp. This place looks like a hotel resort. When you enter it doesn't even look like a hosp. I had my daughter there 2 1/2 years ago and now will be there again soon. They have a labor/delivery room and then you go to a recovery room a few hours later. They do not have a nursery, the baby stays with you the whole time. All nurses were wonderful. Now they have built a whole new floor for maternity. They have the birthing rooms with jacuzzi's, recovery rooms, diner for mom and dad, smoothie hour, portrait studio and much more. I go to the doc again on Friday, I want to see if I can peek in at all the new stuff. It kinda sounds like a vacation but without sleep. haha Mommy to Lacie and Dillon |
