Interesting read. It mentions pregnant women sometimes think it is a free for all to eat what you want when you want, lol some? I thought all pregnant women did that?
Seriously though, this article says there is some bona fide reasons to not over splurge on the food intake and weight gain while expecting. How much weight did you all gain while pregnant and did you lose it all? Do any of you wish you wouldn't have gained extra? I gained 41 pounds with my son, I had lost all of it plus an extra 10 by my 6wk check up. My 2nd pregnancy was another story. I gained 46 pounds and I've only lost about half of it(she's 8 months old). I was 117 when I got pregnant, now I'm 135 and it's all in my bottom half. LOL There was one big difference with the food I ate, with my son it was mostly veggies and anything pickled, with my daughter it was chocolate, fruit, and did I mention chocolate. When I got married I wore a size one, now I wear a size double one. LOL

I gained almost 60lbs with my son. It has been 4 months now and I have lost more than half of that. I am going to start exercising again and I am sure it will come off. Right before I got pregnant, I had just lost about 30lbs so this is a battle I have been through before. I know it will be hard but well worth it.
But I can honestly say if I ever have any more kids, I will not do it the same way. |
