I have loved and hated being pregnant. I have bore 3 children myself. One from my first marriage, and 2 with my husband, Eddy. Ethan is my 12 year old and first born. With Ethan,I hated it. I was sick, and the "sick as a dog" saying applied here. At the time I lived in an apartment in Europe and I literally crawled around on the floor vomiting what felt like constantly, night and day. I had to be hospitalized a couple of times because I lost 12 pounds instead of gaining weight in the first 4 months. My vomiting finally let up some around 5 months, but I still vomited all the way through, and yes ladies, I vomited during all 3 of my deliveries. At seven months pregnant, I had to start using crutches because Ethan was putting pressure on a nerve in my lower back. My whole right leg was paralyzed. I know this sounds so dramatic, it definitely didn’t go the way I wanted it to and wasn’t a story book pregnancy. When I was in my last month, Ethan shifted and I guess you would say dropped, and I could walk again. Also during the whole pregnancy I was exhausted and tired all the time.
I will not bore you with details, unless someone asks I did get pregnant with Ethan very easy. It wasn't planned. I had already been married to Ethan's father for a couple of years and I knew it wasn’t working out well between us. I was using Norplant, a birth control that is implanted in your arm, it was an odd experience. I had it removed and, well I got pregnant. I believe everything happens for a reason. I wouldn’t have met my husband Eddy if it wasn’t for Ethan. I tell about meeting Eddy in my upcoming blog. When the site goes into full launch it will be up and you can check it out then at the blog tab on the home page ~Mother to Brandon, Austin, Ethan, Ryan and Lillian~ |
