This is great news! I am so impressed on how this man was found and caught.

A neighbor of one of the victims found this guy at Wal-Mart and called his tag number in to police. That is awesome that the community jumped in to help catch this guy.

I also think this shows the importance of police departments putting information out there that can help citizens locate criminals. I know Winter Haven Police department has received some negative feedback on not cooperating initially on getting the word out about this suspect.

It makes you wonder if he would have been caught with out the help of a citizen, hmmmmmmmm

Haven Man Arrested in Serial Rape Investigation

I am so relieved, mostly for those who live in that area, although there was no guarantee the man lived there or remained in that area for that matter.

I do have a question, though, in the article, it stated that the day after the second attack a neighbor spotted the bandaged man and got the tag number, then turned the information in to police. That would have been June 28th according to the article. It is now July 22, so what took so long? When exactly did he give his DNA and have they held him pending results all this time? Could they have?

I am so thankful, as many others probably are, to this very attentive neighbor! THANK YOU whomever you are!!

I picked up on that right away too, rather disturbing that it took that long to confirm this guy was the culprit.
