Oh ladies, this isn't good. Can you imagine this? I hope to goodness this little girl is found safe and sound.

The mom never reported her missing! The grandparents did after a month out!

It is my understanding the mother was arrested for neglect, duh!
But from the sound of this story, I think the mother has something to do with it. I just can't understand why a mother would not report her child missing.
She dropped her child off with a friend, and then could not contact her friend for a month? And doesn't report a thing. Something smells fishy here, would you agree?

Yes, something certainly smells funny, and it doesn't sound hopeful, but...
prayerfully, the little girl will be found healthy and well.

It's actually worse. On Channel 9's website they also say that the Mom told them she worked at Universal Studios, and even took them there to her "employee locker" and they then found out she never worked there. She also took them to her "friend's" apartment, but it had been vacant for over three months. She lied to her parents and everyone and the child was only reported missing when her mother finally discovered the truth and reported her herself.

This young mother looks no nonchalant about the whole thing. It's just sickening to think about!

The judge told her that he was not releasing her on bond and only wanted her to think about the answer to the question "Where is she?" and admitted he could not force her to answer the question, but ordered a psych evaluation and told her he would Baker Act her depending on the results.

I only hope she "gave" her daughter to someone else and it is not a worse situation than that.

I hate to say it but I have a bad feeling on the outcome of this little girl. Her mother is lying constantly. Why lie if you have nothing to hide? Plus the mother borrowed a shovel from a neighbor about a month ago. This little girl's photo has been all over the news, even on national outlets and no one has come forward to say they have her or have seen her. I will continue to hope she is okay. It really hits close to home when I have my own 2 year old princess.

Guys, this story is so disturbing! I simply can not wrap my brain around how a parent can harm their own child... especially a mother!
I hope and pary this little angel is found safe and sound. And I know this is terrible to say but I hope that "mom" is never free to hurt anyone again (even if she's only guilty of "child neglect").

I don't have a name anymore, I've simply become "Alyssa's mom" or "Alexis' mom"

I just keep hoping maybe she did give her to the Zendia lady not a month ago but 3 months ago.
This whole story sounds funny. Why report is over a month later... I think if my children's grandparents hadn't seen them in over a week they would be questioning where are they.
I honestly hope she doesn't really have mental problems- we are seeing to many people do things and get away with them because they (supposedly) have mental issues

A grim update to this story. I hope this is wrong information.

If right, it would mean this mom had to dig up her decomposing daughter and take her somewhere else.

If she did kill her daughter, then she already wins the crazy award for me! BUT, to dig up your baby's decomposing body to move it. I can not fathom the act or site!

If she did dig her up and move her she is really mental and sick. I read that this morning and thought how-- just how could a person do that to their own child.
I just don't understand why our world is so sick...
The grandmother is an RN if I was reading it right and is saying someone is holding something over the mothers head... please... the grandmother is covering for the mother from the sounds of things.

Oh, this is horrible! I can't imagine it either nor wrap my mind around what some parents do to their children. It sickens me as well! Shawn, everyone, I so agree the lies just keep coming. For some, lies and crazy just become normal. Sounds like she is in need of real help. By now, she may not even know what the truth is???

Melissa questioned the grandparents not calling sooner, but I can add, from personal experience, we have gone mmmmaaannyy months without seeing grandparents, so that wouldn't be all too unusual for us, but it does sound like the grandmother knows something that may help make the mother speak up.

We just could never imagine being without ours for a second to not alert someone, entire months, oh my, we couldn't bare it!

Michelle- The only reason I say something about grandparents is cause I thought it said something about them living together. And it said the neighbor says she borrowed a shovel and they were digging in Cindy Anthony's yard (Cindy being the gma)

We go long bouts with out seeing grandparents too.

In this instance it has been reported that the mom and daughter lived with the grandparents.

If the little girl is living with the grandparents; how could they not have coerced more information from their daughter?

I think everyday and would’ve said, “Where’s the baby?” It’s hard to believe the grandparents waited a month to get serious about the little girl’s whereabouts. It wouldn’t have taken me a month to realize it wasn’t normal that a little girl is at a friend’s or sitter’s house. JMO

THIS IS SUCH A WEIRD STORY, I DID CATCH THAT ABOUT HER LIVING WITH THE GRANDPARENTS, WHY THEY DIDN'T NOTICE THE GIRL GONE JUST BAFFLES ME. I THINK WE WILL ALL BE SHOCKED ON THIS ONE, THIS STORY IS JUST SO STRANGE, I REALLY DO HOPE THEY FIND THE LITTLE GIRL, BUT IT JUST DOESN'T SOUND VERY HOPEFUL RIGHT NOW.
