I had a real feeling at the beginning that the girl was OK. The mother does not work, her friends say she is out with them and tells them she is with a nanny, and they all wondered how she could afford a nanny. Her mother said she only had to provide her own spending money, but with no job how was she doing that? I was hoping she was tied up into something ugly and was hiding her daughter to protect her.

Then came the decomposition "evidence" and now I'm really starting to believe she did something wrong. I'm sorry, but even if it was my daughter in court, instead of yelling "I love you" to her I'd be yelling "did you do something? Tell me right now young lady!" Frowner

Ladies, this is one of the threads I guess my brain didn't register all information on - sleep deprivation. Frowner Sorry, I realize now they lived with grandma and I completely agree, why wouldn't she realize something was quite amiss with her granddaughter and not take the mother's word on it, pushing for answers or at least calling authorities and have them push? This breaks my heart!

There seems to be no new developments except the judge set the mom's bail at $500,000 and the grandparents are trying to get her out of jail.

The grandparents said they had calls saying there was spottings of the girl at the Orlando airport and in Georgia.

It could have been look-a-likes?

Latest update. Mom is out of jail! What do you think? Do you think mom should be let out of custody?

I wonder what her actions will be now that she is out? Will she try to find her daughter? Who knows?

I think that the bail bondsman who posted for her is out of his mind. According to numerous media sources he said that once she gets out and (paraphrasing) eats hamburgers and French fries, takes a hot shower and does her nails she'll feel human again and start telling what she knows.

Even the implication that she may know something (which I personally think she knows a lot on this one) and can't talk because she hasn't been able to get her nails done and have McDonalds or whatever makes me more sick with this situation.

If she decides she can talk after HER creature comforts are taken care of then I think she should be locked up and have the key thrown away. Even if the baby turns up fine, if she gets out and now says "oh I know where she is" I still think she should be punished for not being cooperative before now.

If my daughter was missing I don't care if I hadn't had a shower or hot meal in months I would be cooperating and doing EVERYTHING I could to help the police find her as soon as possible. A shower and my nails would be the last thing on my mind!!

Has anyone heard anything about this little girl?

And how long can a person be missing with this type of evidence before they presume her dead?

I know that is basically what the states attorney is waiting for since they haven't been able to get any "HARD" evidence.

I know the grandparents have sold movie rights?!? WEIRD

I just wondered if anyone heard anything?

Shannon, I just PM'd you back - I haven't seen or heard anymore on this other than last night she was supposed to be re-arrested again. I have no idea in answer to your questions. I feel ill when I think of this little girl. No one should be able to profit from the death or crime against a child much less before closure or a trial!
