Hi Polk Moms!

I'm new to N. Lakeland and need a pediatrican for my 7 month old son for well care. I have Humana insurance. Does anybody have a good dr. recommendation?

I see these names listed that accept Humana but I know nothing about them:
Dr. Stewart Grant, David Crispin, and Holanda Davila.

Your input is greatly appreciated!
Melissa

Melissa, are those your only options, or is that a few that you know that you can go to?

Our son is about to be 7 months old. We use Dr. Todd Robinson, at Robinson Family Clinic. He is not on the north side, but we really like him because he takes time to talk to us answer questions and give us information and not lecture. One thing about the office is they do not accept insurance, but it was cheaper for us at his office than when we went to other Drs. on he north side with insurance. Hope this helps!

Melissa, Vegaralat brought up a valid point, sometimes when copays and deductibles add up- it isn't always the most cost effective choice to use insurance.

If you feel that you do need to use your insurance for a peditrician you may want to thumb through this thread here

on PolkMoms if you haven't already to see if any of the doctors on your plan are mentioned.

I hope you get some feedback.

Thank you both.

With the insurance there are no copays for well visits.

I'm going to check that link.. thanks again ladies!
