Does anyone have suggestions on where to go for survival swimming lessons for babies?

I do not know how young they take them but my friends kids took some great water safety/swim lessons at the Winter Haven pool. They were only two at time. I went to a few lessons with them and I have to say it was one of the cleanest and nicest public pools I have seen.

Thanks so much for your responses and information. I have a two month old daughter and would like for her to have swim/survival lessons before she begins walking.

I just found an ad for Imperial Lakes Kidz swim lessons.
It states; At Imperial Lakes Country Club, Certified Instructors, Registration fee $10 per child per year, Times tailored to fit your needs, Private lessons one on one with the instructor- $12 per lesson, Siblings can share the same lesson at no extra charge, We teach all ages, Private groups available too, In home instructions. Register online www.ilskidz.com 863-619-6211 1901 Shepherd Road Lakeland FL 33811. The 2 things that stuck out in my mind were all ages and group rates. My first questions would be; has anyone heard of this lesson? If so is it recommended? And if we get good feed back, maybe we can get a PolkMoms group to go? ~Mother to Brandon, Austin, Ethan, Ryan and Lillian~ Breaking Lillian of the bink. Just call me, "The Bad Guy" |

I spoke with a friend of mine who used Christine Katz, who is an Infant Swimming Resource instructor. She is local, here in Lakeland. My friend and her baby had an excellent experience with her.
Thanks for your help. |
