Could anyone recommend a good chiropractor in the Lakeland area? I live in North Lakeland and that would be the most convenient but I am willing to go anywhere for someone good!!

My husband and I have used Dr. Sligh at Sligh Clinic. He is really wonderful and I do not think he tries to keep you going just to get your money. For the first 2-3 weeks if you have a bad problem he might see you several times in a week, but he backs off as soon as you are feeling better. My husband was so bad one time he could not even walk to the bathroom. Dr. Sligh had him at least moving in a few days. I think it took him 4 days in a row to get walking, but then he went every other day for about 2 weeks and then once a week for about a month. Dr. Sligh even came in on a Sat. to make sure my husband could receive an adjustment to help get him back on the right track. Hope that helps.

I have to agree with Shawn on Dr. Stratton. He is really good, but maybe I am biased since he is my husband. They are located in the Publix Shopping Center on Kathleen and Griffin. They have great hours even open on most Saturdays. The only thing is my husband is moving into a new office in a few weeks located in the new Publix on Highway 98 in Highlands City. If you have any question I will gladly answer them for you.

Camille you may have to step in and give more details, but from what I understand Dr. Stratton has moved and is now at the New Highland City Publix plaza.

He is running a patient special for $25 for exam and xrays. That's a pretty good deal. I plan on utilizing it for my 12 year old Ethan. Dr. Stratton is very open to working with adults and children. Trust me, Ethan needs it!

Dr. Chris Cheatwood is very good as well. He is located just south of downtown Lakeland. I know he also works with children. Check him out! They have massage therapy and other services at the office as well.

I know this may be out of your way, but Dr. Scott Moore off Shepard Road is excellent.

I live in Lakeland, too, but I drive to Fort Meade to see Dr. Haag. A co-worker recommended him and I love him! He has been a life saver for me!

I also see Dr. Haag. I live in Bartow so it's not a bad drive to Ft. Meade, but he is fantastic!

I have friends who see Munday Chiro in N Lkld and I went to David Puentes in Bartow a few years back and loved him
