Good Evening Ladies,
I am in search of a place in Lakeland to have a bra fitting. After gaining/loosing weight and 2 kids I just can’t find a bra that fits! So my husband is taking me shopping TOMORROW for just the right garments BUT where do we go? I have already done all the home measurements and still don’t get the right fit. Thanks for any help I can get!

Amanda, Usually you can get a sales associate to help you in department stores too. I really like Calvin Klein bras with wires. You can get them at Dillards I go up and down in bra sizes with my weight. My "girls" are way to big right now, uugh. One of the reasons why I'm dieting.

My hardest part about looking for a bra would be the straps. My chest to shoulder is short and even when my straps are adjusted to the shortest length, I still do not feel as lifted as I want to be.

So if anyone has advice on short straps please let me know.

Smiler Having your wedding anniversary on April 1st is definitely a recipe for mirth!
What a fun and funny time! We went to the mall on the 1st and I met the fitter. I was shocked! I know I have lost weight but holy cow! I used to be a 38-40 and now I'm a 34D. Got me wondering what in the heck they were before deflating. SO the first bra she tried on me was a dream. The second I didn’t like so much... the fabric was bunchie. So we looked over the store and decided ok here is functional lets go to Victoria's secret and get something pretty. WRONG... it was all nightmare padding or push-up-make-my-breasts-into-earrings. Mad All I was looking for was something pretty that took my chest out of my waistband. You know! So we went to Fredrick’s... HA HA... we were in there 10 min. and heard thunder. We didn't roll the windows up before coming in the mall! It was pouring! My husband went out to the car and rolled up the windows came back dripping and the power went out in the mall!!! So we headed home. It was fun. We hadn’t purchased anything but had a great time.

When we got home I was met by an angel. The sitter we hired for the first time had gotten the kids (with her help) to clean the living room, there bedroom and she did the dishes. This is not something I can do all the time. I am disabled and they stack up sometimes. This was one of those times and I don’t have a dishwasher yet. Bless her, they were washed dried and put away. Counters and stove were wiped off, kids were happy and telling me how much they helped with everything. You know what she told me "It’s your 1st anniversary; you shouldn’t have to do anything." She did all that in the 2 hours we were gone. Needless to say she was paid well and we will be hiring her again!

Yes we did go back to the mall yesterday. I tried on ten things in Fredrick’s and told my husband he can forget it. Nothing fit except a corseted number for over $100. He can get that for me for his birthday! LOL We went back to JC Penny! I tried on 20+ bras and the only one that fit correctly was the first one the bra fitter had me try on! Oh it’s Playtex Secrets. SO at 40% off plus an extra 10% off for applying for the credit card I got a great deal and the girls are finally happy!
I now know why most women hate bra shopping! Happy April everyone!
