This isn't for the elderly only. I know a 30 year old lady that suffers from this. There is also a Juvenile form as well. You may want to run over the checklist to make sure you aren't symptomatic.

My grandma had RA most of her life. Gardening and sewing, quilting seemed to help her. She was always doing something. She said if she didn't keep her hands busy they would freeze up. I know she was always in pain from it.
