So July 22nd was marked on our calendar for this release. My girls were literally counting down the days till this CD dropped (aren't I cool 'cause I know music lingo, lol)! Anyway, I'll admit I was really looking forward to listening to this CD and I did buy it the day it was released. This mom's review is that it is an awesome CD and I love it! I burned a copy for myself (for the truck and to bring in to work) and I think I listen to it more than she does. It's very appropriate for young ladies and it has a positive message. There is one song called "Wake up America" and this is the chorus:

"Wake up America we’re all in this together
It’s our home so let’s take care of it
You know that you want to
You know that you got to Wake up America
Tomorrow becomes a new day and everything you do
Matters yeah everything you do matters in some way"

She co-wrote this song with Aaron Dudley and Antonia Armato and I think it's really good for her to get this message to the younger generation.
Another song, and my personal favorite, is "Bottom of the Ocean". It is such a beautiful song... makes me think about a certain someone that broke my heart but it pretty much speaks exactly what I would say to him... "be happy".
I love that Miley's songs are something that my girls and I can relate to and that it isn't provocative or smutty. There are too many pop stars who target the younger listeners and then their next CD is trashy.
My only negative remark is that on one of the songs has an Ashlee Simpson feel to it. I'm not a huge Ashlee fan.
I highly recommend this CD and can not wait till her next tour!! I just hope we'll get lucky and have seats as awesome as we did for this last tour!!

OH P.S. tonight (not sure what channel) they are showing her concert on t.v. Wal-Mart has the 3-D glasses for it and they are free (if they still have them)
