This is my first time posting on the exchange.

What I am looking for is some Bromeliads. I like the ones that are blooming right now. I have a few but not that many.

Bromeliads multiply, but I don't want to take the time to wait. I guess you could say I'm impatient.

I have a large variety of bromeliads, some in which I need to thin out. So I am willing to trade someone for some of the varities I have for the ones I am searching for or buy them.

I would love to get some more of these, especially if someone is looking to thin out some of what they have. Let me know....

If anyone is interested there is a Bromeliad Society of Central Florida

Thanks Shiloh, which Publix and what types are they, do you know?

I'm looking for the ones that are dark pinkish red that people usually plant grouped around trees.

I just happened to see them in their ad. Try www.publix.com and look for the weekly ad.

Thanks for the Publix tip. I don't think those are going to be the ones I am looking for, but I will make a trip soon to make sure.

Shiloh, I am impressed that you knew what they were and you spotted them in the sale paper - you go girl! Smiler

Still would love to hear from someone willing to part with some.

OK, I don't know what it is you are looking for...my thumb is NO WHERE near green but we have something in our backyard that looks like the pics on the website you listed. But, ours is prickly like a cactus. The ones in the photos look smooth but they bloom and look like them. I will take pics and bring them to MNO and let you see if this is what you are looking for. I have no idea what we have....
