Hello all, I'm guitarjee, I'm from The Ledger forums, and thanks to Heidi, I heard about this site.

I have 4 kids, 3 natural born, one adopted into our family as a teen, although, it was not a legal situation, but rather one of pure love. My middle daughter is autistic, but has come so far on her amazing journey, even I am amazed. My firstborn daughter just turned 18 a few weeks ago, my adopted by love daughter, as I like to call her just turned 19, and my youngest, a son, is 11. I have as many questions as answers, and am always willing to learn. I am a stay at home mom for the time being, and I have a plethoria of critters, I volunteer when I can, or when one of the kid's teachers needs/wants, and I just turned 40 this year. I've earned a few silver strands.

Okay, this is my 2nd attempt at this and I hope I'm doing it right this time. Hello! My name is Abby, I'm 31 and I'm a SAHM. I have 2 beautiful boys, 3 and 20 months (often mistaken for twins). Although I'm originally from IL, we moved to Winter Haven after living in central Virginia for almost 2 years. It will be a year this May that we've lived here, and we are enjoying the Central Florida area.
Before I became a SAHM, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. My interests outside of mommyhood, include singing, reading, writing, cooking, quick crafts, and child development.
Thanks so much for this website. It is really what I have been praying for (literally!).
I'm looking forward to chatting with other mothers. My boys and I would also love to find some other moms and kids to get together with for playdates. My boys and very active, and we're always looking for things to do and other kids to play with.

My 20 month old is a little girl, but trust me, she holds her own around boys, that is all she has to play with at home . Playdates are definitely something I want to plan as the site forges on. Hello!! My name I Mariah and I am a SAHM plus! I have 3 wonderful children Emma-Lee 6, Kathleen 4, Ross 10 months. Plus I baby sit and run my own in home business. I have lived in Florida all my life and I have never seen snow. LOL My Passion is my Family!! My interests are teaching my kids through play, and showing people how to get the toxic chemicals out of their home. Hobbies, reading, singing, writing short stories and helping my friends with any knowledge I have.
In my former (life) profession I was a preschool teacher. I would teach 20 kids at a time and I loved it!! but my babies deserve me too!!
