My name is Lisa and I had my first child April 07. I live in Bartow. My hobbies include scrapbooing. I actually sell a line of scrapbook products and host a monthly crop every month. I love my son very much, but think I am done having children. I always said I wanted 4, but that was before I was 35 having my first!

Yes we did just have a big 1st birthday bash. My son is probably one of the few who can say later one that his birthday party consisted of steak and chicken as the main dishes. It ended up being like a family renuion. Much of my family had not met my son and his birthday party was the perfect time for everyone to meet him, so we lived it up! Where does your friend live in Bartow. I am over by the ABC pizza.

She lives pretty close to you it sounds like. She works crazy hours, I will let her know there is another mom in town with a boy the same age as hers.

I love ABC pizza. I haven't been there in ages. I need to do that soon. yum!

When do you usually have it? I live in North Lakeland, but a monthly crop sounds great. I would like some more info. Thanks!

Hi to all the new moms, as Shawn is quick to point out I do not visit the site as often as I should but I still love her. Scrappin mom my son turned one last week and I live in the historic area of Bartow so we are always downtown for lunch. He loves it when we walk to see Mrs. Sue at the icecream parlor. It would be nice if you and your son could join us some time. I have another close friend with a son about the same age, also an only child like mine and yours. So we try to socialize the boys as much as possible.

We like the ice cream parlor also. Let me know next time you are going downtown and I would love to meet you guys

Greetings Moms! I'm 27 years old with 4 kids (girls - 8 Cloey& 5 Nalani/ boys - 2 Jeffrey& 7 mths.Casper) I know I got my hands full. But I am also a Personal Assistant. I run my own business and hopefully with Polk Moms I am able to network efficiently with you all. Wow, I didn't realize that there was a cool social network for Moms in Polk Co. that is awesome. Maybe we could all plan to have a Mom event and everyone actually meets everyone that would be really cool. Anyways, I am excited to be here!

You can always check with the chamber of comerce. I believe they have a website with the calendar on it.
