Hi,

My name is Jennifer and I live in Lakeland with my husband of 23 years and our two daughters, 19 and 7 years old. We both work at the local hospital and I stagger my hours (mostly evenings and nights) so I can be home when our little one gets out of school. Our oldest, Ashley, is working PT and will be starting PCC in May to major in visual art. She has a great talent for drawing and LOVES to read
....especially trivia. Our youngest, Alexandra, is in 2nd grade at Wendell Watson. She is loves to dress up, cook, and make things so we do lots of crafts together. I'm working with her on learning to sew. All three of us LOVE to hit the flea market/swap shops/yard sales. Our family also enjoys going camping, especially my husband. We have quite an assortment of animals (4 dogs, 5 cats and 1 rabbit). In addition, we are wanting to adopt a child through the foster care system but this is turning out to be a frustrating process. I love being a mom--it's the best job in the world!

My husband and I once went to the antique roadshow when it was in orlando. It was so cool to see the behind the scenes. We talked to a lot of people who found great things worth a lot of money from yard sales and flea markets. I really need to start doing this more often, it is the thrill of the hunt.

A couple of things I like to look for while "yard sale-ing" are ceramic or terra cotta flower pots, and legos. My boys are lego fanantics!
