When on the talk page of PolkMoms, find go tab. It pulls down personal zone then go over to profile and click. It should then say, Member profile "your name". Over to the right it should say View/Edit complete profile. Click this. Choose Edit at the Avatar section. A list of Avatars will come up, you can choose one of these or at the top of the page there is a blue link that says "custom Avatar" , click this. You can choose bubble of URL or Upload custom Avatar. Most of you will do the 2nd bubble to browse your computer for a personal picture. Some pictures will downsize to thumbnail size with no problems. If your picture doesn’t look the way you want it, you can go to flickr and use their piknic program to downsize your photo to thumbnail size so it will display well. If any of you have any problems let me know, and I will try to help out. http://www.flickr.com/

I meant to mention, your avatar is your custom picture that displays with your name. Some of you may have noticed I am using one with Lillian on it. I can't wait to see everyone else's, it is fun to play with and personalize PolkMoms for yourself.

I didn't see that you could use your own avatar. Thanks for posting that.

I also looked for one that wasn't too small or blurry looking. The one I'm using is of our boys' hands that I took of the two of them doing a high five sitting in an airplane at the Fantasy of Flight about 3 years ago. This is actually cropped from a larger picture of the two that is sooo cute. The original has the two (Pilot and Co-Pilot) sitting in the cock-pit with their shades on looking at one another doing a high five. I liked their little hands. I thought they were sweet. It is also reminiscent of when they were much littler.
