Hi my name is Christina i'm a stay at home mom to 3 kids. as i love stating home and taking care of the kids i would love some help with trying to find ways to make money. i started this First Fitness Biss. but b/c i don't go anywhere it's hard to sell. My husband makes good money but sometimes i wish he didn't have to work so hard and long to make the money. He needs time with kids. but b/c of his hrs it hard for me to get a reg. job. I NEED HELP!
Have you thought about doing childcare in your home? The lady that used to keep my child charged me $60 a week & I provided everything. She kept 5, so that was $300 a week for her.
I have never stayed home with a bunch of little ones like that, but it is something to think about.
Just a note on keeping kids at your home, I'm not up on the current state laws - but when I was growing up and my mom kept kids the limit that you can keep without getting a state license is either 3 or 4. You can definitely do more (of certain ages), but you'll have to look at licensing.
I sell items on Ebay to make a bit of extra money. I work on commission for a local non profit organization that raises some of its money that way and I'm a trading assistant on Ebay for them.

Is "a bit" a little bit, or a big bit? I have thought about Ebay once before.I have bought from it, but never sold.

Right now for me- I am going off of unemployment and ebay. Ebay is good if you sale things people are wanting. Also, you can post things cheaper by using www.auctiva.com it lets you post things without being charged all the ebay fees. So it helps put a little in your pocket. I've also learned to do shipping from home instead of the post office. I got a scale off of ebay and I use the pitney bowes to ship.

Sorry about not replying sooner! I had forgotten I posted on this thread! LOL
It really depends on the item(s) and who's looking for what. There have been times I've made $150 in a week and other times just $20. I actually work on commission for a local non profit agency selling items for their ministry

I am a stay at home mom and I started selling Southern Living at Home. I do my parties at night or on the weekends so that my husband can keep my children. Great company and wonderful products. They pretty much sell themselves. I love being and independent consultant. The night of the party you automatically make 25% profit off of your party and then there are other ways to earn money.
Hi I may have a place for you to sell your hand made crafts without having to pay a booth rent or anything. My name is Kristi Linebaugh I own a small cafe in Orchid Springs Winter Haven. Orchid Springs is a Women owned business district. This summer we will be having a Saturday Market at our Cafe. It will be in the AM probably 8am-11am If you make jewlery or pocketbooks or such, you can come to the cafe and set up a card table and sell your goods. Our desire is to help women in business no matter the size of business. I am just starting to organize it, so far I have an artist with miniature prints of her original works. I would love feed back if you have any ideas or would like to participate. It is totally free you just have to bring your table, a chair and a table cloth, and of course all your goods to sell. If you are interested you canjust leave your name on the machine at Cafe Latte Coffee House Bistro 863-318-8777. Kristi Linebaugh Kristi@vigoacuisine.com
I am definitely interested-I make scrapbooks for people. I also sell a line of products I use for people to make the books themselves. Please count me in. Thank you,
Lisa
