Hey ladies we've been around with this guy- He post his feelings- throws out quotes from these doctors. We've learned to ignore it and not even get into the debate with him. You can see from another thread we had just about everyone went back and forth with him. Again we are entitled to our opinion and as mothers we do what we feel is right- some say yes and others say no- The doctors quotes don't have much to do with it. CDC doesn't have much pull on most of us moms either- I know what is best for my children and You moms know what is best for yours.

Is it any wonder that childhood diseases, including allergies, diabetes, cancer, autism, asthma, etc, have skyrocketed in the past 20 years?

They keep fear-mongering us that polio, measles, smallpox, etc, will all make comebacks if we quit vaccinating, but vaccination never stopped any of those diseases anyhow. They were all in 80%-90% decline before the vaccines were ver introduced, due to sanitation, hygiene and availability of food.

What do they have to say about all the other epidemics that vaccines are causing?

They say NOTHING.......only deny, deny, deny, deny any linkage.

But ever since she got sick after getting a shot a few years ago, she's sworn off the vaccine.

Such stories frustrate Dr. William Schaffner.

As chairman of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Vanderbilt University, he hears that kind of talk frequently and knows it's in part to blame for a surprising statistic — nearly 60% of health care workers fail to get a flu shot.

Schaffner argues that getting vaccinated for the flu should be standard for doctors and nurses, just like washing their hands. That's because the flu virus can be spread so easily.

"Being in close proximity to patients, having conversations with them, bending over their bed, seeing them in the clinic while you're doing procedures, you would be breathing out viruses and spreading influenza into your patients," said Schaffner, who is also president-elect of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases.

The nonprofit group educates the public and health care industry about the causes, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. It gets about 75% of its budget from major vaccine makers, but executive director Len Novick said the money comes with no strings attached.

When I saw that last sentence, my mouth dropped open to the floor in amazement that the article actually admitted that 75% of the funding to that organization who wants ALL health care workers vaccinated IS FROM THE VACCINE MAKERS !!!

Nope I wont get the flu shot for my kids or myself. I feel it's much better to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly and eat omega 3s drink apple cider vinegar which the kids like as well. I'd rather live in love than in fear.
