Well Rhett returned to the nuerosurgeon yesturday, they have moved everything up. They will be calling me Friday, if the schedule permits he will be having his surgery on Wed of next week, just to give you all an update that didn't know, my son Rhett, who is now 3, was diagnosed with a chiari malformation, which is basically part of the base of the skull blocks the fluid to the brain. Well this may be part of his problems with sleep (he hasn't slept but for 3-4 hours a day since birth) They say the fluid in your body builds up while you are sleeping, which causes pressure for him, because he doen's have full flow. Which in turn wakes him up (headaches, pressure) We have a 50% chance this will fix the problem. I know its not big numbers, but we've tried everything else. I am pretty much at a breakdown point, I need all the support I can get right now. Ya'll are great. Just needed to talk to someone. Thanks

Shannon, Wow, I can't believe you are living on that little of sleep! We take advantage of our children's health sometimes. Your story makes me feel even more blessed to have my kids to be doing as good as they are!
