Have any of you ever heard of this? I haven't. Luckily I never gave my little ones water to drink as infants, but I have seen moms do this in the public.

When I first saw the title of this article I thought it would be the water as a drinking source. Like contamination, etc, but that is not the case.

Tells of the dangers and potential risk of water and babies bodies not being able to handle water intake and over diluted formula being an issue. To check it out - here is the link

Great article and Thanks for sharing! I passed this onto my niece who just had her first baby last month and has been giving him water in between feedings.

My mom encouraged me to give my son water but that was almost 14 years ago...he has turned out just fine

As for my daughter she was a 2 hour eater..on the clock every 2 hours ...2 oz of formula for 3 long months...lol she is almost 7 now..time flies by!

My niece has a ped's appt next week so she said she was going to inquire about it.

Great info!

.

If WATER can be potentially harmful to babies at that age, just think how devastating vaccines are.

Look at all of this trash/poison that gets slammed into babies before they are 2 years old.

I wouldn't be concerned about water.

Van has his Formula watered down since 2 months old just an ounce more he has never been able to handle it full strength and still can't. using the powder he can't drink at all has to be consentrate. as for water plain he has gotten a sippy cup with dinner since he was 5 months he never really started driking it alot till now and he is 9 months old now I really think you need to just watch your child and know how much breast milk or formua he is gettingbefor you decide on water.
