I know guitarjee posted a thread about Natural Remedies and someone else may have some time ago, too, but I wanted to pass on this information about a local Honey Farm. It was created originally as a homeschool project and is in the growing stages of their home business.

This raw honey comes straight from the hive and is screen filtered to ensure top quality flavor and thickness.

Store brands are pasteurized and many contain fillers which results in a thinner product with less taste.

And I want to thank you and Shawn for mentioning the fact honey is NOT safe for children under a year old. I had completely forgotten that fact, given my youngest will turn 12 this year, it has been a verrry long time since I had to worry about that.

There's an apiary off of 33 near Shepherd Rd in S Lakeland (Mulberry). I asked about a natural remedy..I forget what it is called right now, but it is basically bees ground up...sounds gross, but I was just curious. They didn't know what I was talking about! They have a cute little shop too and even gave me a tour!

Jen - I've seen the place you are talking about - but have never ventured in. Now - I'll have to set up a field trip! Do you know the name of the place or a phone number to post?
