Okay ladies, we are in the south, and we are supposed to be able to make great banana pudding. I grew up in a house of not big fans of bananas in general, so we never ate banana pudding. I am now living in a household of banana and banana pudding lovers. My husband moans when he talks about his grandmother’s banana pudding. I have tried to make banana pudding twice in my life, hubby says that it is great, but I am not getting any moaning when he eats it. I am still looking for the perfect recipe. I saw one online that added cream cheese. Has anyone ever made one like that? Does anyone have a tried and true, killer good banana pudding recipe?

Well
Try This Add 1 teaspoon of banana extract to vanilla pudding or just buy the banana flavored. also the true pudding rescipe is on the box of vanilla waffers, I have found making it with chocolate pudding is deffinetly worth tasting. cause anything with chocolate is good. remember grandma or mom will always make it better even being a former chef I could not beet my husbands mom. even with her own recipes.

I haven't made it for years but always used the recipe on the vanilla wafer box. It was always great. My mom used it, too.
