Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on where my husband and I could find a set of bunk beds or twin beds. We are getting relicensed as Foster Parents next month and need to pick up these items. We do not need brand new. We will start looking in the paper as I know this is a great place to start. Or if someone is cleaning out or having a thrift sale with these items, please let us know! boxer421@tampabay.rr.com
Thanks Big Grin

Also, Try Kid Krazy on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland. They have all kinds of kids items, toys, furniture, clothes, new & used. The prices are good, and the items are nice. I would definitely try it. You can call them at 619-7000.

Join Yahoo group: Freecycle-Lakeland. You can offer items you wish to get rid of, and you post your own needs. I just received a couple of really great items, including a tots castle trampoline for free from a really nice lady.

Thanks for the advice. We are looking for a twin bed/beds for the boys room. We have two white cribs, one is Savannah's and a twin W/white head board for a girl. I was thinking something "cool" for the little boys room. Remember, second hand furniture is fine. The theme is a mixture of race cars, some Noah's Ark things and construction.
boys mommy,
I will call call Kid Krazy and see what they have. Hopefully I will run across a great bargain or two! Thanks greatfulcp and ja2003wow for advice. Oh, free stuff, Wow I will check that out

Boxer421-Ann,
It's a online classified. Just type in craigslist.com and choose Florida. Then you can pick Lakeland, Orlando etc. From there you will see all the categories. It's for sale by owner not bidding. Most people have pictures of the items and you can email them with any questions or they give they're phone number too.
Check it out. I have had some good luck with craigslist.

But I never go anywhere alone and try to meet potential sellers/buyers at a public place.

Ann I don't know if you are still looking but some great deals can be found at the discount center at the rooms to go distribution site in seffner. I no gas is crazy now, but sometimes it is fun to take a ride. Worth a check. We just saw some cute bunk bed sets there very cheap that had slides on them. Very cool!
