Trying not to scare anyone but my husband says there is alot of gangs at that theater, they have put more deputies on details there. Just be careful, be aware of your surroundings and go during the day.

I've wondered about that because it seems like the theater isn't looking that great anymore. I haven't been to this theater in awhile. Course, I haven't been to any theater in awhile with the exception of seeing the new Indiana Jones movie at the Lakeside theater a few weeks ago!

I'm going to check it out this week. Since this theater's free movies start this week, we will give it a try. We will probably go Thurs., 6/5 to see the Veggie Tales Pirate movie. My 3 yr old hasn't been to the movies before, so this will be a good way to see how she does. Hopefully, going in the morning won't be any problem. I do plan on going to some movies at the Lakeside theater also this summer.

I go to this theater all the time with my kids. There are no "gangs at the theater". It isn't as new as the Lakeside theater but the staff is very friendly, the popcorn is better and the prices cheaper. There is hardly anyone in the movie with you so if you have small children it is ideal because if you have to get up or they make noise there is no one to bother. I have tried getting out of the lakeside one and it can be scary in the stadium seating with a squirming little one in the dark. I hate lakeside villiage on the weekend eves. because many unsupervised teens hang out there and my kids have heard and seen some things that I wish they hadn't. I truly prefer our little northside theater. I have never felt unsafe there.

I went to the Free Movie today at Lakeside and meet mommyofboys-I think is her name on her and pete n repeat. Very nice to meet both of you today, can't wait until we can get together again and have more time to get to know each other a little better! Anyone interesting in carpooling from Bartow to any of the free Movies let me know.

Hi, Lisa! It was great meeting you, too! Since there are a few with similar names using boy(s) and mommy, I had to remember Jessie's "name" too. It's boys mommy. I think all the boys enjoyed their movie!

And Lisa, it is funny we have a mutual friend, too! Sorry you won't be able to come on Sat. but I'll keep your crops in mind for future months, too.

I have gotten my computer back and it is DEFINITELY NOT my computer so we have yet another tech visit set for next week. Until then, I have to either deal with it as is or not at all. You see how well the latter works. lol
