Has anyone heard what zoning boundaries for this new school will be.

It is going to be open for the 2009/2010 school year near the corner of 98 and 540A and EF Griffin Road.

Some kids from Valleyview will be either rezoned to this new school or to Highland City Elementary.

Then Valleyview will go off the "track" (year round) calendar and start following the "normal" school calendar.

My child actually just brought home a flyer about this.

The zones for Floral Avenue, Highland City, James E. Stephens & Valleyview will be discussed at a school board meeting at 5:30, Tuesday, October 28 at Bartow High School. The meeting will be an opportunity to give input regarding issues related to the new school & the other schools that may be affected by its opening.

I know, I got one yesterday too.

I think we are going to be borderline for the new school.
